"Inspire"

Project 1 Description

Project 1: Self Portrait Through Discovery

For Project 1 students investigated their everyday surroundings, where they live, their home, neighborhood, local stores and the Grauer school campus to find letters formed from both organic and man made shapes, color, and textures. Students were to take photographs for each letter of their name or a word that describes them.

Once their photos are printed the students will mount them in a horizontal format. As you can see, that they paid close attention to the way their letters had a coherent component to tie them all together, be it theme, color, shape, composition or texture.
